About Course
Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to understand, manage, and use our own emotions positively. With high EQ we also accurately interpret the feelings of others and respond appropriately to them. Having good EQ allows us to put in a pause between our emotions and our actions. This allows us to reflect before responding in a constructive way to expressing those emotions, rather that being reactive and impulsive.
This leads to healthier relationships through building deep connections with others based on a trust and safety. EQ helps to prevents conflicts and, indeed de-escalate them should they arise.
Ultimately, mastering our emotional landscape prevents stress from driving our decisions, leading to clearer communication, stronger relationships, and lasting mental resilience.
