"...it’s my decisions on the most fundamental levels of my existence, the way I speak to myself every second, that are going to maintain, change, or have an effect on working on my mental health, feeling healthy, happy, secure in my own self."

Work has improved through counselling as I'm hitting all my targets and achieving standards my boss and colleagues didn't even know existed!

I've learned so much about myself and you never judge me.

I feel much calmer and able to achieve a better work/life balance for me and my family.

I have developed the ‘counsellor in me’ and feel capable of coping on my own now with the tools to self-soothe.

I am now coping better with my emotional responses to situations and communication with my partner has improved significantly because of my changed behaviour.

With therapy, I have gained self-awareness and a better understanding of myself. I used to need to be liked by everyone and had strong people-pleasing tendencies. Now I have accepted who I am and have the self-confidence to set healthy boundaries.

Thank you so much Daniela! Really enjoyed the session today, you’re the best therapist I’ve ever had...

I don't think I've ever felt so safe, grounded and trusting in myself and it all started since our sessions and has just continued to evolve, it's beautiful!

Therapy - what is it?

Therapy takes place in a safe space where clients can express difficult thoughts and feelings. I, as the therapist accept the client as they are, without judgement, and always strive to be real with them. Through self-exploration an understanding develops of where the client’s feelings stem from, possibly as far back as their childhood. Emotions (feelings) such as anger, fear, guilt and shame experienced often and intensely over extended periods of time are indicators of bad mental health. I support my clients in finding more positive ways of managing their thoughts and feelings. With higher self-awareness and inner resilience clients are able to change the way they interact with themselves and others. This in turn results in improved relationships and enhanced emotional well-being.

All the best
